Let us flow through the feminine moon energy together!

The International Women’s Day on March 8 inspired me to create a flow inviting in more of our feminine energy (=moon energy). By the way – this does not mean this flow is only for women! We all carry masculine and feminine energy within us.

You have probably already heard of  Yin und Yang. If you joined the Firehorse Session you are familliar with the Yang energy: that is the sun energy. It represents our masculine energy, that of fire, implementation and action.
But what if the sun would shine non-stop? The earth would burn – which is why it is important to balance out this energy. That is what we do with the Yin energy: our moon energy. It represents our feminine energy, that of water, receptivity, relaxation and trust.

We will invite in relaxation in this session and find our calm – which can sometimes be the most challenging thing to do.

What to expect

We will warm up dancing before flwoing through the less known moon salutation (Chandra Namaskar). It requires some trust as we circle around our mat meaning you will not always see me (but you will hear me!). We will then transition into a gentle Yin-Yoga practice. We stay in the shapes between 3 to 5 miniutes and let gravity do the work.

We will then practice the „Chandra Bedana“ breath technique (an alternate breathing technique where we inhale trhough our left and exhale through our right nostril) followed by an intention setting. If you feel like it and still have time you are more than welcome to stay for an exchange with the group. 

The active session takes about 45 minutes and we have the room for exchange afterwards.

The session will be recorded. The recording will be available to you for 1 month (until April 9th 2026).

FAQs

What do I need for the session?

A yoga mat, comfortable clothes, a blanket, water, a journal or paper and something to write! We don’t need any other props, but I do like to have 2 yoga blocks handy whenever I practice yoga.

What if I can't join live?

No worries – you will receive a recording of the session that will be available to you for 1 month.
