Choose happy | Not only is life not black and white. It is also so much more than grey. As the artist of your own life you decide just how much paint you throw on it. During this retreat we will explore the full spectrum of colors.

We will let everything FLOW. Our bodies and breath as well as our thoughts and emotions. As we will fully live the ‚as-well-as philosophy‘, we will start and end each day exclusively with our retreat group, but will have other retreat guests from Tuscan Fitness join in on all other activites. So we will have people flowing in and out and might have a different group dynamic every day.

We will GROUND ourselves and sink into a space where we are taken care of. Let the powerful tranquility of the surroundings work its magic. Nourish your body with delicious regional food and by moving it in nature. Nourish your mind by clearing it of what weighs you down and by introducing new perspectives and take-home techniques on how to manage stress. Nourish your soul by indulging in life and doing what truly makes you happy.

Steffi’s retreat in Tuscany is something that has stayed with me deeply. The place itself was beautiful — wide open nature, peace, and space to breathe. I arrived there and very quickly felt my body start to relax.

The combination of activities flowed so naturally together. Everything had depth, yet there was also lightness. I was able to truly slow down and come back to myself.

What made the experience so special was Steffi’s way of guiding us. She is incredibly present and sensitive, and she works very intuitively. She was always feeling into what we needed in that moment and shaping the program around that. Nothing felt rigid. Everything could move and adapt. And because of that, it always felt exactly right.

Beyond the calm, so much shifted inside me. New themes opened up — quietly, gently, but clearly. Things I now get to explore further. I didn’t expect that, and it became such a gift.

Even today, when I think back on the retreat, I immediately feel that same sense of calm and ease within me.

For me, the retreat was beautifully complete. I felt safe, held, and at the same time free. I’m deeply grateful I was part of it.

We will mix it up: structure & free-flow, known & unknown, activating the body & quieting the mind, going deep & taking it easy.

Welcome Wednesday Program

Today you arrive! Take your time to settle in and take in the magic. Our group dynamic will be AsWellAs. The activites marked in green are exclusively for our closed group. For all other activities we will join with the group of the other guests of the retreat location. The open group may change every day.
We will start our retreat with a welcome & cacao ceremony just for us, before being joined by the other guests for a gentle yin yoga session followed by a delicious 3 course meal and great conversations.

Let’s go back to the roots, take a deep breath and reflect in our exclusive morning breathwork & journaling session. After an activating yoga practice and breakfast we will explore La Dolce Vita with a local activity diving into the Italian culture. After lunch we will embark on a 1,5 hour hike to an abbey and enjoy a nice Aperitivo in one of my favourite little bars. After yoga and yet another tasty dinner we will fully sink into relaxation with a restorative candlelight yoga session.

Fire it up Friday Program

Today we will fire it up! We start the day with activating breathwork techniques, focus on action and flow through a vinyasa class. After breakfast we will focus on stress management techniques, learning how we can regulate our autonomous nervous system. If you want to blow off steam you can join a HIIT class and really get that heart rate up! Enjoy lunch, a gentle yoga session and some free time before heading out to a nearby vineyard to learn all about the Chianti vines and taste your way through the reds! After your 3 course dinner we will end the evening with some fire alchemy.

Today is about integration. We will balance out our breath and our mind and reflect on the previous days. We will flow through a yoga class, have breakfast and enjoy a nice long hike. Depending on your departure time, you get a packed lunch or enjoy a 2 course menu before continuing your journey home or onward.

At your yoga retreat in Tuscany, I was able to relax and become fully present. Beginning the day with your morning meditation before the yoga session was such a beautiful way to start. How much more perfect can a day continue? By staying on the mat and watching the sun rise during our morning yoga practice! The atmosphere of the location did the rest: kind staff, lovely people, delicious food, good wine, and a wonderful view over the olive trees… 🥰

For the first time, I took part in a cacao ceremony and discovered what cacao really tastes like. I was also able to bring in a personal goal of mine: you practiced no-wall headstands with me 🥰

The farmhouse is representative of Tuscan traditions thanks to its ongoing relationship with breeding and agriculture: In order to keep these traditions alive the owners of La Forra live in connection with the surrounding nature and animals.

It is the ideal place for those who are seeking profound peace and quietness, combined with a warm and refined atmosphere within an unspoilt countryside.

The farmhouse La Forra is located on a hilltop and surrounded by the natural beauty of vineyards and olive groves, typical of the Tuscan landscape.  There are also  forests of oak, chestnuts and pine trees.
The convenient geographical location allows you to reach the most famous art cities in less than one hour: Florence and Arezzo can be reached in 40 minutes, Siena and San Gimignano in about an hour.

All classic guest rooms have a great view of the olive trees garden, a private outside area with table and chairs and also a private shaded seating area at the swimming-pool with table, chairs and sun loungers.

All are equipped with TV, electric water heater and all items you need to prepare a cup of coffee or tea.

Getting there

Find us tucked away on a hilltop in midst of olive trees…

We are located 45 minutes South of Florence and 1.5/2 hours East of Pisa. We truly are on a hilltop in the middle of nature and the next town is about 20 driving minutes away. But don’t worry – getting there is actually quite easy!

Getting there by plane & train

The closest airport is Florence (FLR).
From there, you can take a tram (T2) to the train station Santa Maria Novella (SMN), which takes about 20 minutes (cost: 1,70€). Please note that there are 2 train stations in Florence, SMN is the one you want! From Firenze SMN take the train to Montevarchi-Terranuova (it takes between 40 and 60 minutes depending on the train and costs approximately 7€). Note that the tracks are only announced shortly before departure, which can seem a bit stressful, but always works out perfectly fine.
From Montevarchi there is a shuttle service for you leaving at 1pm and 3pm. Please let us know if you want to use the shuttle (it is included in the price). In case you arrive at a different time, a taxi can be booked at an additional cost. Please contact Tuscan Fitness directly if this is the case. They are happy to arrange everything for you!

An alternative option is Pisa Airport (PSA).
From there you can take the train directly from the airport which takes you to the main train station in Florence (SMN). Please note that there are 2 train stations in Florence, SMN is the one you want! From Firenze SMN take the train to Montevarchi-Terranuova (it takes between 40 and 60 minutes depending on the train and costs approximately 7€). The Italian railway system, also known as “Trenitalia” can be accessed either via an app on your phone (this can be extremely helpful) or via their browser www.trenitalia.com and here you find train times, train numbers (so you can crosscheck the train number on your ticket with the train number shown on the departures board).

The train track is called a “Binario”

Once you have arrived into the Montevarchi-Terranuova train station you will exit into the Piazza donatore del Sangue where you will see a Piazza and some coffee bars and some benches under the trees. If you don’t immediately see your shuttle waiting for you (either a taxi or a car with Tuscan Fitness written on it) then we ask you to please wait on the benches where we will find you.

Getting there by car

To get there by car, enter ‚Agri Resort La Forra‘ into your GPS. The address is: Via Chiantigiana, 52022 Montegonzi AR, Italy.

Please note that some of the roads in Tuscany are very narrow and sometimes also just gravel roads. The road up to La Forra is paved, but at parts very narrow and with many curves.

Cancellation policy

What if life gets in the way?

The My Yogic Journey seminar costs (400€ p.p.) are 50% refundable until April 6th 2026.

Please refer to the Tuscan Fitness cancellation policy for the room and board costs:
We provide full cancellation up to 30 days prior and after 30 days until one week prior we will offer you the option to move your dates. With only 7 days prior to the retreat date we will need to deduct one night stay.‘

Please note that when you move your dates, you will not receive any extra activities outside the Tuscan Fitness schedule. I might offer another retreat in autumn, please reach out to me in case you want to move your dates to another one of my retreats hosted at the Tuscan Fitness location.

Step 1 – Pay the Seminar Fee (to My Yogic Journey)
This covers the add-ons of the retreat program (e.g. breathwork and evening yoga sessions, stress management workshop), workbook, 1:1 integration session, and facilitation. The cost is 400€ for a solo traveler (1 person), 800€ for a pair-ed journey (2 people) and 1.200€ for a traveling trio (3 people).

You’ll receive the accommodation booking details after payment.

Step 2 – Book Your Accommodation (with Tuscan Fitness)
After you’ve paid the seminar fee, Tuscan Fitness will get in touch with you directly to manage the booking and payment for the Tuscan Fitness programm (room and board, activites we join in).
Accommodation, meals and the join-in activites are paid separately to the retreat center. The cost is 864€ for a solo traveler (1 person), 1.377€ for a pair-ed journey (2 people) and 1.903,50€ for a traveling trio (3 people).

Please note that the booking is only final once you have completed both steps.
