Genieße das Leben in vollen Zügen!

Aloha

I love life ♥ I try to enjoy it to the fullest and to create freedom and happiness.

Freedom means, to me, to open the limitations in my mind, to be in harmony with myself, and to make a conscious decision about how I live, how I see the world, and how I (re)act. Freedom means ‘and’ instead of ‘either/or.’

My long-term travels

To explore the world a little better, I took my first sabbatical in 2018 and spent 6 months backpacking through Latin America on my own.

In 2023, I took an entire year “off” and rediscovered traveling in a whole new way. In Indonesia and Thailand, I experienced the element of fire; in Mongolia, the element of earth; in Hawai’i, the element of water; and in Mexico and Northern Germany, the element of air.

For as long as I can remember, I have been traveling the world. It’s one of those things I never seem to get enough of. On the contrary – the more I travel, the more I want to discover. Because this world is so fascinating, so beautiful, so diverse, so exciting, so full of lessons.

Traveling pushes me out of my comfort zone, shows me new perspectives, gifts me never-before-experienced impressions, unforgettable moments, and yes, sometimes pushes me to my limits. But how else could we better learn how other people live? How other cultures think? There is so much we don’t know – and through traveling, we gradually discover more and more.

For me, curiosity is essential to living a happy life. Knowing that there is so much out there to discover. That a whole world is waiting for us. That there is endless wonder. That there is a reality beyond our imagination. As long as we stay curious, we learn and grow. As long as we ask questions, we remain open to constantly changing and re-discovering ourselves.

Yogi

Key element: balance

I have always been on the move: preferably with sports that get my pulse racing. At first, yoga was too boring for me. But over time, I found an access to it and now I can hardly imagine a life without yoga. The beautiful thing is – I don’t have to. We can practice yoga anytime and anywhere.

At first, yoga was purely a physical practice for me. But little by little, I felt how it also changed my mind. Yoga is about mindfulness, about feeling how we are doing, what we need, and where our limits are (and pushing those limits). It’s not about how a pose looks; it’s about how it feels and about connecting to ourselves.

The time on the yoga mat is ours – we are present and ask ourselves: how am I feeling today? What is possible today? Balance plays a very important role in this. Yoga teaches us the right mix of tension and release, of accepting things as they are, and of patience and consistency when we want to create change. Yoga is so much more than just a few asanas – it is the art of living right, by balancing body, mind, and soul.

My Yoga and Breathwork Teacher Trainings

At the moment, I have a total of 500 hours of training under my belt – and there will surely be more to come. I love learning and continuing to grow!

In March 2023, I completed my 200-hour Hatha/Vinyasa training with Trimurti Yoga in Bali. In November, I followed it up with a 100-hour Yin/Restorative training with Yandara Yoga in Mexico.

In 2024/2025, I completed a 100-hour online Ayurvedic Breathwork® Teacher Training with Prana Up and returned to Yandara Yoga for a 100-hour Breath & Meditation training.

Coach / Mentor

Key element: reflection

People often say that I love to talk a lot – and while that may be true, what I truly enjoy is listening. And asking questions. Others, myself, and the universe. All the answers are already within us. But sometimes, we’re just missing the right key to unlock them.

When I started my training to become a stress coach and stress mentor, I didn’t expect just how profoundly that step would change my life. Suddenly, I understood why I was on the verge of a burn-out during my house renovation (keyword: perfectionism) and why an almost-boreout at work felt even worse (I had been defining my worth through my performance). I became aware of some of my unconscious beliefs, took a closer look at them, and decided which ones to keep, which to adjust, and which to let go.

I learned techniques for dealing with stressful situations instead of avoiding them (because honestly – wouldn’t life be terribly boring without stress?). I experienced methods that help us better understand ourselves, uncover and release negative emotions and fears. I felt how powerful it is to imagine a vision for the future – and then actively work towards it. And I realized how important it is, in this ever-changing world, to continuously reflect and keep rediscovering ourselves: what drives us? What do we believe? Which stories are we telling ourselves?

My training to become a Stress Coach / Mentor

I completed my training as a Stress Coach and Stress Mentor with Jacob Drachenberg (Drachenberg Academy) from 2021 to 2022. The focus was on strengthening stress competence – not on “anti-stress.”

My values

Shaped by Jacob Drachenberg.

We are happier and more fulfilled when we live in alignment with our values.

That’s why it’s incredibly helpful to be clear on what our core values are – and how we can integrate them into our daily lives. Do you already know yours?

Simona Ettner, Markus Huke & Stephanie Huhn

Together with Simona and Markus, I launched the project Servus Stress. It is a heart mission for us to share strategies for healthy stress management, as well as for living a fulfilled and happy life.

Servus & farewell to negative stress, limiting beliefs, and passivity.
Servus & welcome to freedom, ease, and personal responsibility!

In our podcast Servus Stress (available everywhere you find podcasts), we talk about various topics around stress, share stories from our own lives, and offer our knowledge, strategies, and thoughts. It’s our heart project, and I wholeheartedly recommend you give it a listen! Note: it is in German.

What has changed since then?

I have been through an intense inner and outer journey, during which I overcame so many limitations and got rid of a lot of unnecessary baggage. I experienced what can happen when you unfold your potential, can be be your authentic self, and are at peace with yourself. And so the circle closes. Curiosity drives me to keep discovering the world and myself. I continuously listen to my inner self and make adjustments to stay in balance. I regularly ask myself the question whether I am still on the right path, or if perhaps the goal has changed.

Maybe I have the privilege to inspire you a little bit along your own journey ♥
